WMH Game 07 - Supreme Kommandant Irusk versus Thornwood Chieftain Madrak Ironhide
My second game that evening at the Bunker was against Jake de Jesus and his Trollbloods. Sadly he was missing some of his models due to some misunderstanding (hope you get those back, man), but he still aced up for a 25PC match!

WMH Game 06 - Supreme Kommandant Irusk versus Major Siege Brisbane
Open gaming night at the Bunker with me and an infantry-heavy Supreme Kommandant Irusk list. My first opponent that evening was Harold Soon and his Cygnar warjack-heavy list led by Major Markus "Siege" Brisbane.

My first turn - I advanced my Doom Reavers behind the church tower to avoid long range shots from Cygnaran shooting |

Decade
It's been a year and a decade since I seriously bought into the whole miniature wargaming hobby. I've had my share of wins and losses. I've hosted events, helped others host events, painted, played, playtested; pretty much the whole shebang of what anyone can do in the community.
I've seen the landscape change. I've been part of it. People have seen me change, too. Change has always been double-sided. It can be good and bad at the same time.

WMH Game 05: Kommander Orsus Zoktavir versus Garryth, Blade of Retribution
I played another WMH game last Saturday at Fortress, Greenhills. It was against EJ Diaz (isawatsuke) and his Retribution of Scyrah force led by Garryth, the Blade of Retribution.

WMH Game 04: Kommander Sorscha versus Kaya the Moonhunter
Yeah my first pSorscha game for 2011 ^_^
I fought off against Karl Manalo (Bakerofish) and his Circle Orboros force last Friday at Lito's Battle Bunker!
I was supposed to run a Forward Kommander Sorscha list that day, but when I packed my eSorscha model, her Frostfang came off again. And since Kei and Maybelle were waiting for me, I was flipping through my Khador cards, trying to come up with a new list.

Works In Progress, Entry 8
Mixing up my painting workload so I won't get bored, I was juggling between another Space Wolf Grey Hunter, my Bloodletters, and the box of Retribution Mage Hunter Strike Force I got from Raymund Tesoro (daemonruss).

AnixSG's Bead Tip
I was watching some videos on Youtube and came upon a very helpful tip for paints from AnixSG.
He mentioned near the end of the video about placing a pair of plastic beads in your paint pots so when you shake it (you shake your paint pots before you used them, right?), the beads inside help mix/agitate the paint better.
As it turns out, I didn't need to buy anything. The better half has some beads lying around the house (she took on a wedding giveaway project for her cousin recently) which I immediately confiscated and declared for personal hobby use! As AnixSG instructed, I took two beads and plopped a pair in each of my P3 paints.
She bought those cheap from Divisoria or Tutuban. I'll ask her for the specific location when she gets back and update this post when I do.
Here's AnixSG's video:
He was prepping up a miniature for chrome (something I should try on a later date). His tip for the beads are at 2:50. He has lots of useful vids which I watch to kick my gears to start painting.

Lots of beads - a lifetime supply of cheap paint agitators |
It's blurred, but yeah there's a pair of beads in that Skorne Red |

WMH Game 03: Kommandant Irusk versus Borka Kegslayer
Khador steel advance over familiar territory! |
It was a vacant gaming night at the Bunker earlier, and SJ Quema and myself literally had the whole line of tables to ourselves.
I used the same list I used last Wednesday.
Kommandant Irusk, Behemoth, Kovnik Jozef Grigorovich, Koldun Lord, War Dog, Iron Fang Pikemen with unit attachment, Winter Guard with unit attachment and Rocketeer, Widowmakers |

WMH Game 02: Kommandant Irusk versus Thagrosh, Messiah of Everblight
A rushing river is where Kommandant Irusk decided to take his deployment on the outskirts of a small farming village |
I got to play against Dick Sy's Legion of Everblight force last Wednesday evening at Pitshop.
I decided to use an infantry-heavy list - specifically something with Iron Fang Pikemen. The reason behind that was: it was only recently that I bought the P3 Khador token set, and it included some nifty Shield Wall tokens. And since I don't have Man-O-War Shocktroopers and Assault Kommandos, the only unit I have that can Shield Wall are my ignored IFP.

Works In Progress, Entry 7
I've been working on several old blogs and updating them - including the WMH Philippines blog, the RHGC blog and Luigi's Combat Resolution, plus an RPG side project with old buddies. My painting has been sidetracked but for updates here's some more work on my Retribution Dawnguard Invictors.
I've also tried out some plugins on the blogs, like pagination and Adsense. Hopefully you guys see them working.
